Audit Associate - Financial Statement

Overview

Audit Associate (Financial Statement) to perform audit and related assurance engagements for client financial statements, analyze results, and support quality and internal control evaluation.

What you'll do

• Perform audits, reviews, compilations, and various engagements.
• Analyze financial statement data and draw logical conclusions.
• Exercise professional skepticism when assessing audit evidence.
• Identify, assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client accounting systems.
• Prepare clear and accurate workpapers.
• Update managers and seniors on job status and assurance issues in a timely manner.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
• Minimum 1 year of Public Accounting experience, including audit engagements.
• Demonstrated understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Ability to research and analyze technical issues independently as requested.
• Ability to identify internal control deficiencies and document management letter comments.

Nice to have

• Engagement Master’s degree in accounting or finance (mentioned as a requirement/detail).
