Automation Engineer

Overview

Automation Engineer role focused on test automation of enterprise applications using Playwright and C#, with a preference for the Insurance domain.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute test cases for enterprise applications.
• Design and develop comprehensive automated test strategies and test cases.
• Automate Thin/Web applications and REST APIs.
• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional and cross-regional team towards delivery.
• Work with deployments and CI/CD tools.
• Deliver production quality software within tight schedules.
• Report defects using defect reporting tools.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application testing (test case development and execution).
• At least 3+ years of strong working knowledge in Playwright.
• At least 5+ years of experience with programming using C#.
• Strong working knowledge of .NET based test automation frameworks (Specflow).
• Strong background in functional testing.
• Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Extensive knowledge of testing process, testing methodology analysis and defect reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Preferably 5+ years of enterprise application testing experience in the Insurance domain.
• Prefer at least 3+ years of experience working in SQL environments.
• Experience with deployments and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Experience automating Thin/Web Applications and REST APIs.
