Job description

Overview

Build and support software test automation frameworks and infrastructure for Charles River products. Plan and execute automated validation, regression testing, release staging, and certification, while guiding junior staff.

What you'll do

Expand automation framework capabilities for product and service requirements.
Create pipelines for functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
Maintain automated and manual test script libraries.
Interpret test results and document defects in the issue tracking system.
Improve QA methodology and research new testing approaches, including artificial intelligence.
Maintain testing labs and conduct release staging and product media certification.
Guide junior staff in automated test script best practices.

What you'll need

10–12 years of experience building enterprise test automation frameworks.
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a technical or MIS-related course of study.
Programming experience with Java, SQL, PowerShell, and Bash.
Experience testing web, native or desktop, API, and batch applications.
Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical test plans.
At least 3 years working with an Agile development methodology is strongly desired.

Nice to have

M.S. degree.
Experience with Rest Assured, Playwright, Azure SDK, Kafka SDK, Cosmos DB, Swagger, Silk4Net, FlaUI, or Talend.
Experience with TeamCity, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or Argo CD.
Financial services industry experience.
Knowledge of CRD functional areas.
