Azure AI Engineer - Manager

Overview

Manager role in PwC's Acceleration Center India, Technology Consulting practice, leading the development of software and product innovation solutions and managing a team of engineers.

What you'll do

• Lead the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation
• Manage and mentor teams to enhance their skills in software engineering and product innovation
• Design, code, and test applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#
• Oversee the integration of enterprise applications and confirm seamless functionality across platforms
• Utilize API management and microservices to optimize application performance and scalability
• Conduct code reviews and implement coding standards to maintain quality software development
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline software development processes
• Engage in strategic planning and execution to align software projects with business objectives
• Encourage the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance software development practices
• Take ownership of projects, confirming successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
• Coach team members, manage performance, and address conflicts or issues with clients, team members, and stakeholders

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Must have expertise in Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Python, AKS, Copilot Studio, AI Search, Azure App Service, Azure Function

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Advanced skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript for software development
• Excelling in strategic planning and execution for client engagement projects
• Embracing technology and innovation to enhance project deliverables
• Mentoring junior staff to develop their skills and performance
• Analyzing complex systems to identify opportunities for improvement
