Back-end Engineer - LoanIQ

Overview

Build backend services, APIs, and processes for the agile LoanIQ delivery pod within Finastra’s AI COE.

What you'll do

• Design backend services, APIs, and data access layers.
• Implement clean, tested, maintainable code in C# and .NET.
• Integrate backend services with databases and external systems.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
• Apply engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and senior engineers on end-to-end features.

What you'll need

• Experience building backend services with Python, C#, .NET, or equivalent frameworks.
• Understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, and server-side logic.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design fundamentals.
• Experience using Git/GitHub in a team-based environment.
• Interest in developing large language model-based applications.

Nice to have

• 3–6 years of LoanIQ experience.
