Backend API Testing

Overview

Backend/Cloud/API Test Engineer responsible for testing REST APIs and backend systems using Java and API automation tools.

What you'll do

• Test REST APIs and backend systems.
• Develop API automation with Rest Assured.
• Use JUnit for automated testing.
• Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply design patterns and clean coding practices.
• Work with Java 17 or Java 21.

What you'll need

• Advanced Java skills.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and backend systems.
• Experience with Rest Assured.
• Experience with JUnit.
• Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions.
• Azure fundamentals, including AZ-900.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or Confluent event streaming.
