Backend Engineer - Node JS

Overview

Backend Engineer focused on Node.js (with React.js experience) to build scalable web applications and APIs.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Develop and enhance frontend components using React.js.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for application data management.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure application reliability.

What you'll need

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js, Express.js, and API development.
• Experience with RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Good knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Storage, Functions, or DevOps).
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
