Billing Analyst

Overview

The Billing Analyst manages billing operations, monthly billing runs, invoice disputes, credit memos, revenue rules, usage reconciliation and billing-related reporting.

What you'll do

• Create and update necessary billing rules (“Subscriptions”) in the appropriate Billing Platform.
• Update Subscriptions for Indexation.
• Review the Revenue Rules associated with each Subscription.
• Work with Sales Operations to provide them with the AER of any renewal.
• Understand Deferred Revenue expectations.
• Reconcile and bill SMS volumes.
• Instigate and complete billing runs for your designated area each month end.
• Consolidate various usage reports into a single report that can be uploaded into the Billing Platform.
• Work with Sales and Support to evaluate the validity of a customer’s dispute on an issued invoice.
• Raise a credit memo and reissue invoices when appropriate to ensure Zeta can collect monies due from the client.

What you'll need

• MBA – Finance or any other finance degree.
• Minimum experience of 2-3 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge in the billing / O2C function of a Global company.
• Experience handling statutory and Internal audits, including query handling and schedule preparation.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, including Workday / NetSuite.
• Basic understanding of commercial terms in Customer Agreements, for example SOW and MSA.
