BIM Engineer (Electrical)

Overview

Develop and coordinate electrical BIM and CAD deliverables for multidisciplinary engineering projects in the Mumbai office, using Revit and AutoCAD.

What you'll do

• Develop BIM and CAD models and drawings with minimal supervision.
• Produce and coordinate Revit and AutoCAD deliverables.
• Interpret engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and design information.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams on design delivery.
• Participate in model reviews, coordination activities, and issue resolution.
• Deliver drawings, schedules, and documentation within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Contribute to BIM best practices and digital delivery workflows.

What you'll need

• 5–15 years of experience in Electrical BIM design, including a minimum of 5 years in Revit Structures on multidisciplinary projects.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary project delivery standards and BIM workflows.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 principles and BIM Execution Plans.
• Ability to plan and deliver tasks to agreed schedules and budgets.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Navisworks, MicroStation, and OpenBuildings Designer.
• Understanding of clash detection, model coordination, and BIM review processes.
• Experience with UK infrastructure or multidisciplinary engineering projects.
