Bodily Injury Adjuster – Represented Third Party Casualty (East Coast)

Overview

Handle moderate to complex represented third-party casualty claims, including bodily injury investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and settlements. The role primarily supports claims in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

What you'll do

• Investigate represented casualty and bodily injury claims.
• Take recorded statements and review medical reports.
• Determine coverage limits and claim values.
• Set and update reserves with documented rationale.
• Negotiate and settle claims according to business practices.
• Research and respond to insurance department complaints or investigations.
• Document claim notes, evaluations, and decisions.

What you'll need

• Prior represented casualty claim handling experience.
• 2–5 years of moderate or complex bodily injury claim handling experience.
• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination.
• Strong communication skills for phone-based interactions.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time remotely.

• Remote, home-based role within the United States.
• Eastern time zone candidates preferred; Central time zone candidates considered.
• Not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington.
• Annual compensation: $56,000–$92,000.
