Bodily Injury Adjuster-Litigation, Moderate/Complex (NY/NJ/PA) Remote

Overview

Handle moderate and complex litigated bodily injury claims from a permanent remote home-based role. Investigate automobile accidents, assess coverage and liability, evaluate damages, and negotiate timely settlements.

What you'll do

• Investigate single- and multiple-vehicle casualty claims involving property damage or bodily injury.
• Review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage.
• Communicate with customers and attorneys by phone, email, text, and sometimes video chat.
• Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with involved parties.
• Use estimates, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve complex claims.
• Document claim activity accurately and on time in the claims system.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of moderate or complex bodily injury claim-handling experience.
• Experience handling represented or litigated third-party casualty claims.
• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time remotely.
• Ability to obtain an adjuster or appraiser license within 60 days if required.

Nice to have

• New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania bodily injury claims experience.
• Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation.

• Permanent remote home-based role in the United States.
• Applicants must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST.
• Annual compensation: $56,000–$92,000.
