What you'll do

- Use market research, customer feedback analysis and monitoring of industry trends to identify new products, features or enhancements.

- Participate in key Agile events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Create, maintain and prioritise the product backlog so the highest value features are delivered first, balancing business needs, customer requirements, organisational impact, risk and future proofing against product strategy.
- Act as the voice of the customer by continuously gathering feedback from customers and end-users on pain points and experience.
- Review and accept or reject work completed by the development team during sprints against agreed acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders and marketing teams, to gather requirements, define product goals and align the product vision with business objectives.
- Regularly assess product performance using KPIs and customer feedback, adjusting the backlog and roadmap to improve functionality.
- Manage ongoing readiness and 'run' activities of live products, including monitoring, governance and approvals.
- Identify potential risks, develop strategies to resolve or mitigate them, escalate as necessary, and align product management with control functions.
- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.
- Plan resources, budgets and policies; manage and maintain policies and processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies or procedures.
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership and senior management, on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
