R&D Product Owner / Delivery lead

Overview

Act as Product Owner / Delivery lead for R&D software on the Motion business drive product, based in Bangalore, India, and reporting to the R&D Team Lead.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the other global POs in the program team and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize and maintain the product feature backlog according to agreed rules, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Analyze bugs reported by stakeholders and create a high-level resolution plan for team members.
• Continuously monitor the under-development project and ensure each feature being developed fully meets customer expectations.
• Ensure the scalability and maintainability of the tool in every release.
• Write business and technical user stories by understanding business requirements and the features to be implemented in software development.
• Create and groom requirements for teams, and provide support for early demos.
• Clarify domain-related doubts on an iterative basis and create common understanding between team members and stakeholders.

What you'll need

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in electrical, instrumentation or industrial automation, or total minimum 8-10 years of experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as Product Owner, Module Lead, Team Lead or Delivery lead for diverse complex software development projects/teams.
• Sound knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD/VSD), electrical motors, sizing and their use cases, applications and working principles.
• Deep understanding of AC, DC, drive and motor selection, sizing, commissioning experience, and different types of motors and their applications.
• Knowledge of PLC automation and engineering.
• Experience in the Scrum framework, Agile methodology and the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle process, Agile methodology and SAFe framework for delivery of software products.
• Effective network and communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure cloud, software development, technology stacks and validations.
