Business Advisory Associate

Overview

Business Advisory Associate role in Supply Chain and Mechanical Engineering, managing supply chain operations and supporting data, quality and continuous improvement work.

What you'll do

• Manage planning, procurement, distribution and aftermarket service supply chain operations, helping clients realize 5 for every 1 spent on our services
• Manage the Supply Chain and provide insights to increase efficiency by doing away with waste and facilitating greater profits, including management of the flow of goods and services and processes that transform raw materials into final products
• Apply mechanical knowledge (structural and moveable parts) to define mechanical products encompassing design, structural strength, manufacturing, assembly, tolerancing
• Under direct supervision, manage data maintenance and work on short-term and long-term assigned projects
• Handle database and data mining
• Analyse quality related documents (certificates)
• Work with pre-approved guidelines and proactively assist in achieving organizational goals
• Actively use continuous improvement tools to improve HS&E, quality, delivery, financial performance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction
• Handle special projects as assigned

What you'll need

• Advance Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
• Bachelor's degree with preferably 1-2 years supply chain, maintenance or similar experience
• Experience in SAP - MM module
• 2-3 years experience in Quality Assurance control inspection and testing
• Strong knowledge of reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Ability to analyse and present statistical data
• Material test review and maintenance documentation experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; detail oriented
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, including some advanced Excel functionality
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in a challenging, fast-paced work environment
