Business Analyst -Remote – Telecom

Overview

Business Analyst role supporting telecom and managed services initiatives in a fully remote capacity. You will translate business needs into functional specifications and support requirements, process improvement, and solution delivery.

What you'll do

• Facilitate meetings and workshops to capture business requirements.
• Translate business needs into well-documented functional specifications and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
• Evaluate feasibility and technical implications of business requirements.
• Analyze current business processes to identify pain points and recommend optimized process flows.
• Conduct data analysis and build reports/dashboards to communicate insights.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support solution design, functional testing, and UAT support.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration/working with remote teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL or similar data querying tools.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in Telecom, ISP, or Managed Service Provider environments.
• Comfort working across time zones and remote collaboration platforms.
