Business Development Representative for the US market at Prodigal, focused on identifying target US accounts, starting relevant conversations, and earning qualified meetings.

What you'll do

• Own outbound prospecting into strategic US accounts.
• Identify stakeholders and engagement moments across phone, email, LinkedIn, events, and other channels.
• Research prospects’ business models, workflows, priorities, KPIs, and regulatory environment to identify where AI could create value.
• Develop hypotheses and create highly relevant outreach (cold calls, emails) to drive responses.
• Cold call senior operators and executives and navigate rejection to earn next conversations.
• Book qualified meetings and hand off context to an Account Executive.
• Maintain clean account data, follow-ups, sequences, CRM records, notes, and handoffs.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, SDR/BDR, or another highly customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English is important.
• Comfort working with modern sales tools and learning new AI tools quickly.
• Commercial curiosity—investigate unfamiliar companies/models.
• Strong judgment to decide what AI outputs are actually good and verify facts.
• Clear communication to simplify complex information and communicate without jargon.
• Resilience in handling rejection and moving to the next conversation.
