Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

About the role

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer to turn complex datasets into dashboards and insights that drive real business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand what they need to measure, then build the data models and reports that make it visible.

What you'll do

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into clear, practical BI solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Build data models, KPIs, and performance metrics that stakeholders can trust.
• Integrate data from multiple databases and business systems into a unified view.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Validate data, run quality checks, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Optimize report performance and keep documentation for reports, models, and BI solutions current.

What we're looking for

• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or a similar BI platform.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Solid data visualization skills and sound judgment on what makes a dashboard useful.
• Strong Excel and business data analysis skills.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Exposure to data governance or data quality frameworks.
