About the role

We're looking for a SQL Developer who enjoys turning messy business requirements into clean, fast, well-structured database solutions. What you'll do

  • Develop, test, and optimize complex SQL queries that power business applications and reporting.
  • Design and maintain tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and carry out performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Help safeguard data integrity, security, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Write functions, triggers, and database scripts, and support data migration and integration work.
  • Translate business requirements into database solutions and keep technical documentation up to date.

What we're looking for

  • Strong command of SQL, including joins, subqueries, and aggregate functions.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one platform such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing.
  • Familiarity with query execution plans and performance tuning.
  • Basic knowledge of database security and data integrity.
