Business Intelligence Expert for Chemistry Solutions (m/f/d)

Overview

Business Intelligence Expert focused on managing and optimizing chemistry data for high-demand use cases.

What you'll do

• Design, maintain, and optimize data structures and corresponding data to meet customer use cases.
• Transform data structures to support different representations and implementations.
• Optimize databases (e.g., indexes, views, and queries) and implement extensions/stored procedures for fast results.
• Participate in an agile team with ceremonies and team decision-making.
• Work with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.

What you'll need

• Expert-level experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence.
• Strong background in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including optimization.
• Minimum medium-level scripting experience in Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Fluent English oral and written communication skills.
• Education: bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in computer science or life sciences with strong IT background.
