Overview

Business Lead, Special Situations serves as the operating leader for a strategically important initiative anchored in a major partnership.

The role turns a cross-functional mandate into an operating plan and measurable outcomes, personally driving execution across partner and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Own the initiative’s integrated strategy and operating plan, including priorities, outcomes, metrics, owners, dependencies, and decision points.
• Structure complex and ambiguous business problems into fact-based recommendations and executable choices.
• Define success measures and run operating reviews that surface progress, risks, tradeoffs, and required decisions.
• Personally drive highest-priority initiatives from problem definition through implementation and measurable outcomes.
• Translate strategic priorities into commercial, product, technical, deployment, and go-to-market workstreams.
• Prepare executive decision materials and establish governance for strategy, resource, economic, and execution decisions.
• Stand up a joint go-to-market motion and drive the first cohort of customers from targeting and value proposition through execution.

What you'll need

• Substantial experience in strategy and operations, business operations, general management, strategic initiatives, or similar roles.
• A track record as the accountable operator for consequential outcomes.
• Exceptional structured problem-solving from ambiguity to clear analysis, recommendations, and action.
• Strong analytical and business judgment, including defining metrics and evaluating tradeoffs with data.
• Excellent program and operating leadership with a bias toward simple mechanisms that create clarity and execution velocity.
• Clear executive communication with ability to produce high-quality written plans, recommendations, and decision materials.
