Solutions Marketing Lead, Public Sector

Overview

Lead public sector solutions marketing for Anthropic, positioning Claude as a trusted AI partner for government policymakers and public sector teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive public sector marketing strategy across government verticals.
• Craft differentiated positioning and messaging for distinct public sector audiences.
• Lead go-to-market for product and solution launches, including sector-specific MCP integrations.
• Coordinate messaging and execution between public sector initiatives and Anthropic’s broader marketing function.
• Partner with communications to support executive thought leadership and public sector announcements.
• Maintain a public sector content calendar featuring use cases, case studies, and partnerships.
• Enable sales with materials and outbound campaigns that drive pipeline for public sector enterprise accounts.

What you'll need

• Experience working in a 0-to-1 environment and navigating ambiguity across stakeholders.
• Exposure and competency across multiple marketing functions including content, campaigns, social, analytics, and sales enablement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to diverse government verticals and procurement cycles.
• Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, partnerships, communications, and marketing teams.
• Interest in responsible and equitable deployment of AI in public-facing contexts.

Details

• Hybrid policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more.
• Washington, D.C. or San Francisco office: expected to work from office at least once a month for stakeholder engagement.
