Overview
Own the field marketing strategy and end-to-end execution for Anthropic’s US Public Sector audiences, partnering closely with Public Sector Sales teams.
What you'll do
- Develop and activate the US Public Sector field marketing strategy end-to-end, including planning, calendar, execution, and measurement.
- Design and run public-sector-appropriate event formats that comply with government ethics and gift rules.
- Plan the field calendar around the government fiscal year and state budget cycles.
- Own presence at anchor public sector events, including sponsorship strategy, speaker placement, and on-site execution.
- Build co-marketing programs with public sector channel partners, including joint events and partner-sourced pipeline.
- Partner with Public Sector Sales and BDRs on pre-event targeting, during-event engagement, and post-event follow-up.
- Build scalable operational playbooks and run baseline metrics, dashboards, and ROI reporting.
What you'll need
- Direct Public Sector-segment experience as the primary audience for programs.
- Hands-on end-to-end ownership of field marketing events and programs (0-1 building role).
- Proven pattern of impact from scaling field or demand generation programs across multiple companies.
- 0-to-1 builder experience building or rebuilding field marketing motion and scaling operationally.
- Sales alignment experience working with AEs and BDRs on targeting, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-up.
- Operational rigor to stand up vendor management, registration, follow-up workflows, and ROI dashboards.
- Technical credibility to review technical event content and brief technical speakers.
Details
- Work from the San Francisco or Washington, D.C. office at least 2 days a week.
- Hybrid policy expects staff to be in offices at least 25% of the time.
- Annual compensation range: $320,000–$400,000 USD.
