Marketing AI Intern

Overview

Marketing AI Intern supporting G2 Marketing's AI fluency initiative. The role works with marketing leadership to help teams adopt AI in daily workflows, measure progress, and develop cross-functional tools and playbooks.

What you'll do

• Draft deep-dives for marketing functions using established AI adoption formats.
• Validate AI use cases with team leads and secure content sign-off.
• Identify blockers to team progression from Stage 1 to Stage 2.
• Track adoption progress through assessment scores and draft case studies.
• Analyze assessment data to identify teams ready for cross-team enablement.
• Support shared workflow development, dashboard maintenance, and training rollout.
• Document lessons learned and gather feedback for curriculum iteration.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude across different tasks.
• Working familiarity with general-purpose assistants, specialized tools, and agentic workflows.
• Ability to interpret assessment data and summarize recommendations for leadership.
• Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple workstreams with guidance.
• Interest in applying AI across marketing functions such as SEO, creative, and marketing operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Sheets, Apps Script, Chart.js, or basic data dashboards.
• Familiarity with marketing functions and their AI applications.
• Prior internship or project experience in training, enablement, or cross-functional projects.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building playbooks.
