Lead internal communications for Anthropic’s Core Tech organization, advising executives and translating technical work into clear narratives for employees.
What you'll do
- Own the internal communications strategy for your Core Tech portfolio.
- Advise executives on what to say and when, and draft communications in their voice.
- Translate technical work into narratives that resonate across functions.
- Plan internal events like all-hands and AMAs with operational excellence.
- Anticipate communications needs (launches, incidents, org change, external attention) and prepare plans.
- Design strategies to boost signal and reduce noise across internal channels.
- Exercise sound judgment with sensitive/security-related material and partner with internal comms to ensure consistent updates.
What you'll need
- 8–12 years of experience in communications or an adjacent craft.
- Exceptional writing skills for distilling technical decisions into compelling narratives.
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Ability to embed credibly with engineers and security practitioners.
- Curiosity about how technical systems work and ability to ask good questions.
- Ability to connect team updates to company strategy and mission, with awareness of organizational culture.
Details
- Annual salary range: $295,000–$345,000 USD.
- Hybrid policy: in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
- Visa sponsorship: available for some roles/candidates; reasonable effort to sponsor if offered.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/training/experience.
