Business Senior Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Business Senior Analyst (Assistant Vice President) liaises between business users and technologists to translate information clearly and support business performance insights and planning.

What you'll do

• Liaise with business users and technologists in coordination with the Technology team.
• Define business, financial, and operations requirements and system goals with decision makers and end users.
• Establish scope and parameters for systems analysis and define outcome criteria.
• Analyze business processes, capability gaps, and appropriate data sources, interfaces, and process changes.
• Generate and compile reports with probable causes and potential solutions to systems issues.
• Assess and advise on technology/operations risk and escalate/manage control issues with transparency.
• Filter, prioritize, validate complex material from multiple sources and perform assigned duties.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
• Ability to use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
• Proven interpersonal, diplomatic, and influencing skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven business analyst experience in a financial services environment.
• Deep commodities business knowledge, including exotics deal modeling and full trade life cycle.
