Buyer/Planner - Project Execution

Overview

Buyer/Planner - Project Execution is a client-facing operations role responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring material movement and manufacturing activities across the project execution lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Develop manufacturing plans from project schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor movement of materials through the production cycle.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness before release to production.
• Determine material requirements and coordinate material availability across functions.
• Evaluate, select, and allocate projects to contract manufacturers based on readiness, capability, quality, and delivery performance.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues impacting delivery schedules.
• Assess manufacturing capacity, address bottlenecks, and coordinate schedules with manufacturing teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, production, industrial engineering, electrical, mechanical, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing planning, production planning, supply chain, project execution, procurement planning, or contract manufacturing management.
• Knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of material requirement planning (MRP).
• Knowledge of capacity planning.
• Knowledge of inventory planning and supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
