Overview
As a Cardiac Specialist within the Digital Physiology team, you will analyze, review, and process ECG and cardiac safety data from clinical trials in a regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Measure interval durations and heart rates on digital and paper ECGs.
- Review ECG waveforms and place digital calipers using validated methods.
- Convert cardiac image data into analyzable formats and verify accuracy.
- Process cardiac safety data from Holter recordings and monitoring systems.
- Evaluate ECGs for potential safety findings and escalate alerts.
- Perform ABPM processing and quality reviews.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support quality improvement activities.
What you'll need
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an ECG Core Lab, cardiac monitoring, clinical research, or regulated healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, electrophysiology, and cardiac physiology.
- ECG certification or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, databases, and web-based tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and solve problems.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precise, high-quality work.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Cardiac Physiology, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field.
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practice, data privacy regulations, and quality-controlled environments.
- Experience with ECG, Holter, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, or related cardiac safety data.
