Overview
Celonis Platform Engineer responsible for technical ownership of the Celonis platform, including platform health, data governance, and compliance with IT security standards.
What you'll do
- Own daily reliability by monitoring uptime, performance, and compliance of the Celonis platform.
- Troubleshoot system slowdowns, data extraction failures, and quality issues.
- Define and enforce technical guidelines for Data Integration and Object-Centric Data Models (OCDM).
- Review and approve technical work from external Celonis Consultants and internal teams against platform standards.
- Manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and ensure solutions comply with enterprise data privacy and security policies.
- Provide technical documentation, access, and guidance to PI Managers and Data Analysts.
- Occasionally support data integration or fix critical bugs when teams are blocked.
What you'll need
- 3-4+ years hands-on with Celonis EMS (environment management, Data Integration, PQL, and platform administration).
- Solid understanding of at least one core ERP process area (e.g., SAP STP, O2C, underlying tables).
- Experience setting technical standards, writing documentation, and reviewing other developers for compliance.
- Strong grasp of SQL, basic data pipeline concepts, and data privacy/security standards.
- 5+ years total IT experience in Data Engineering, BI Administration, or Systems Integration.
- Advanced SQL and comfort with standard API integrations, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
