Overview
Chief Engineer responsible for engineering planning, equipment maintenance, people management, operational inspections, and supporting guest satisfaction at the property.
What you'll do
- Assist the General Manager with identifying major facilities and equipment requirements.
- Ensure correct maintenance of equipment with other hotel departments and keep up with technological advances in surveillance and safety.
- Coordinate with departments to maximize cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service.
- Provide timely support to resolve customer queries and issues for customer satisfaction.
- Inspect the condition of buildings and installations, including plumbing, carpentry, heating/air-conditioning, hot water systems, electrical problems, refrigeration, and elevators.
- Supervise air-conditioning plant, boilers, pumps, and ensure proper safety measures.
