Chief of Staff - Engineering

Overview

Chief of Staff - Engineering partners with the Senior Executive of Engineering to drive operational cadence, cross-functional execution, and strategic alignment across technical teams.

What you'll do

• Partner with engineering leadership to define departmental goals, track OKRs/KPIs, and allocate resources.
• Run engineering leadership meetings by setting agendas and tracking follow-ups.
• Oversee high-priority, cross-functional technical initiatives and help remove blockers.
• Streamline communication between product, engineering, and other business units.
• Act as a trusted proxy/communications conduit for the SVP of Engineering by drafting internal updates, memos, and board decks.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in engineering program management, technical operations, management consulting, or software engineering management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Analytical rigor and a strategic mindset to drive change and process improvements.
