Civil Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a talented Civil Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. You'll focus on creating detailed CAD drawings and designing fiberglass structures, combining technical precision with creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Create detailed CAD drawings and technical designs for fiberglass structural components using industry-standard software
• Develop structural designs that meet engineering specifications and client requirements for fiberglass-based projects
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, blueprints, and design reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to refine designs and ensure constructability
• Support the full project lifecycle from conceptual design through detailed engineering and site implementation

What we're looking for

• 0–2 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or equivalent tools)
• Solid understanding of structural design principles and fiberglass material properties
• Ability to produce accurate, detailed technical drawings and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in design work

Nice to have

• Experience with fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) or composite material design
• Familiarity with design software like Revit, CATIA, or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of Indian building codes and standards (IS codes)
• Exposure to site supervision or field work
