Clinical Sales Specialist

Overview

Clinical Sales Specialist on the Foot and Ankle team, driving growth across the US through customer relationships and in-operating-room consultation on foot and ankle solutions.

What you'll do

• Attend first cases with new agents or new doctors, lost doctors, or "doctors at risk" as determined by the Sales Leadership Team
• Assist with surgeon sawbones or cadaver labs
• Assist distributors and representatives with sales calls on all product lines within Foot & Ankle
• Staff all trade shows, regional or local meetings as determined by the leadership team
• Act as field liaison to the corporate office for marketing, R&D, operations and customer service, including assisting in providing literature or materials needed by agents or representatives
• Assist in scheduling, sourcing materials and staffing labs
• Provide product feedback or product complaints
• Provide training and execute technical product sales
• Pipeline, target, prospect and execute in-field sales calls driving revenue and growth
• Support downstream strategic sales initiatives

What you'll need

• Must have prior orthopedic experience
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and current automobile insurance
• Must have full-time work authorization in the United States, now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship

Nice to have

• Foot & Ankle orthopedic experience (highly preferred)
• 3+ years' experience in the operating room
• 5 years of quota-based sales experience
• Experience in healthcare industry or medical sales
• Experience working with distributors
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance and third-party reimbursement

Details

• Remote, field-based work with customers, Regional Sales Representatives, a minimum of 60% of the work week
• Travel up to 75%, typically 1-5 day assignments requiring overnight, out-of-town stays
• Routine car and air travel, including weekend travel
