Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Cloud Migration Engineer role that assesses existing solutions and infrastructure for migration to the cloud, and plans, delivers and implements application and data migration using private and public cloud technologies.

What you'll do

• Evaluate current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments.
• Strategize and execute the migration of applications and data, ensuring solutions are scalable and perform efficiently.
• Lead the development and implementation of migration strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions; provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with and manage the team as an SME, taking responsibility for team decisions.
• Mentor junior team members to support their growth and enhance team capabilities.

What you'll need

• 15 years full time education.
• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cloud Automation DevOps.
• Proficiency in Cloud Automation DevOps.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of deployment pipelines and continuous integration/continuous delivery processes.
• Ability to design and implement scalable cloud solutions that optimize performance and cost.
• Familiarity with scripting and configuration management to automate cloud operations.
