Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Cloud Migration Engineer role that assesses existing solutions and infrastructure and plans, delivers and implements application and data migration to private and public cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Assess existing solutions and infrastructure to determine the approach for migrating to the cloud.
• Plan, deliver and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies.
• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes and address challenges promptly.
• Document migration procedures and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future projects.
• Assist junior team members with guidance and support during migration tasks.
• Provide solutions to work-related problems and actively contribute to team discussions.
• Continuously monitor and optimize migrated solutions.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database and migration issues.
• 15 years full time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
