Cloud Operations Administrator

Overview

Cloud Operations Administrator working with the Service Delivery Manager on capacity management, billing/show back operations, and cost optimization across multiple cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align cloud operations with organizational goals.
• Monitor cloud resource utilization and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud service delivery and operational processes.
• Perform capacity management, billing/show back operations, and cost optimization activities across multiple cloud environments.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration (must have).
• Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration (must have).
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of system performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Ability to automate routine tasks using scripting languages and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud billing and cost management practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices in Linux system administration.
• 15 years full time education.
