Overview

Cloud Operations Administrator role working with the Service Delivery Manager on capacity management, billing/show back operations, and cost optimization across multiple cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Perform capacity management across multiple cloud environments.
• Carry out billing and show back operations.
• Engage in cost optimization activities across cloud environments.
• Act as an SME, collaborating with and managing the team to perform, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational processes and enhance service delivery efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
• Experience with Linux system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for system management.
• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Ability to monitor system health and implement proactive maintenance.
