Application Support Engineer

Overview

Act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. This is an SME role based at the Bengaluru office.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to improve system processes and workflows to enhance overall team efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through complex issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution.
• Continuously monitor system health and performance metrics to preemptively address potential issues.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Nutanix Administration.
• Proficiency in Nutanix Administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and managing hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to storage, networking, and compute resources within Nutanix environments.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies in cloud and on-premises environments.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline administrative tasks.
