Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

Design, build, test and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure, and create proof of architecture to validate viability, security and performance.

What you'll do

• Design and construct cloud-based application solutions that integrate cloud and traditional infrastructure components.
• Test and deploy cloud solutions to meet performance and security standards.
• Create proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure and platform environments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud and non-cloud systems.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and security.
• Document architecture designs and deployment processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Assist junior team members in understanding cloud platform concepts and deployment strategies.
• Contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Python (programming language).
• Must have proficiency in Python (programming language).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Ability to design and test proof of architecture for cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline deployment processes.
• 15 years full-time education is required.
