Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

Designs, builds, tests and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure, including deploying infrastructure and platform environments and creating proofs of architecture to test viability, security and performance.

What you'll do

• Design and develop cloud-based application solutions that integrate cloud and traditional infrastructure components.
• Build and test solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards.
• Deploy infrastructure and platform environments.
• Create proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of designs.
• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Actively participate in and contribute to team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions meet organizational requirements and standards.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and security.
• Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
• Assist junior team members with guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud environment management.
• Knowledge of integration techniques between cloud and on-premises systems.
• 15 years full time education.
