Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

Design, build, test and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure, creating proofs of architecture to validate viability, security and performance.

What you'll do

• Deploy infrastructure and platform environments.
• Create proofs of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Actively participate in and contribute to team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Assist in developing best practices for cloud application deployment and management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• 15 years full-time education required.
• Must have: proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
