Overview
Support Servigistics products and their underlying infrastructure in PTC's private cloud. Maintain secure, stable, operationally ready hosted environments, with a focus on operating system patching and recurring maintenance.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute operating system patching across supported environments.
- Develop patching schedules and infrastructure maintenance plans.
- Review systems for prerequisites, dependencies, exceptions, and risks.
- Coordinate maintenance with Systems, Networking, DBA, R&D, and Application Support teams.
- Validate application availability and system health before and after maintenance.
- Track patch status and coordinate remediation for unsuccessful or deferred systems.
- Maintain Apache, Java, Tomcat, and other approved third-party components.
What you'll need
- 2+ years supporting Linux systems, cloud-hosted environments, infrastructure operations, or system maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration.
- Experience with operating system patching, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
- Experience maintaining and configuring Apache, Java, and Tomcat.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
- Basic Oracle database knowledge, including select, insert, delete, and join commands.
- Associate degree in a technical field plus 2 years of technical work experience, or a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
Nice to have
- Exposure to automation or scripting for repetitive system administration tasks.
- Familiarity with Pentaho PDI ETL technologies.

- Remote in the USA.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Security-level clearance.
- Annual salary: $65,000–$75,000 USD.
