CMS - Full Stack Developer

Overview

Support business objectives as a CMS Full Stack Developer by analysing requirements, modernising legacy applications and developing scalable Java and Spring-based solutions.

What you'll do

• Analyse business problems, client requirements and legacy application codebases.
• Develop business requirements and technical solutions for identified opportunities.
• Build low-latency, high-throughput applications using optimised Java practices.
• Architect modernised solutions using design patterns and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with their needs.
• Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Manage risk and strengthen controls related to delivered work.

What you'll need

• Expertise in core Java, including multithreading, garbage collection, data structures and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing low-latency, high-throughput applications.
• Ability to analyse legacy application codebases with minimal guidance.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Core and dependency injection.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and guide team members through assignments.
• Ability to perform complex analysis using multiple information sources.

Nice to have

• Experience with JMS, Solace or Kafka.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle or Maven.
• Unix/Linux command-line and shell scripting skills.
