Company Apprentice role at KONE, a global elevator and escalator company, within the Business Services team and KONE Front Line in Chennai.

What you'll need

• Basic knowledge and experience of manufacturing/operational process
• Business understanding about this specific area (also based on the economical evaluations)
• Ability to provide feedback both orally and in writing
• Problem-solving ability
• Basic English knowledge
• Computer skills

What you'll do

• Track and meet performance measures for safety: IIFR, lost time due to injury, timely reporting of safety measures, safety audits and 5S targets
• Track and meet performance measures for quality and environment: feedback from next process phases (EFR, FYCOR), FPY of own production processes, rework/production scrap reduction, environmental targets
• Track and meet performance measures for time: Complete on Time (COT), schedule adherence, reaction time for feedback orders
• Track and meet performance measures for cost: volume per shift for productivity and efficiency, optimize direct working hours and reduce indirect hours through the best use of resources
• Contribute ideas and suggestions in own area (IMS and PDCA)
