Apprentice

Overview

An apprenticeship with AtkinsRéalis's UK Buildings & Places team for architecture graduates to gain practical experience in architectural design, BIM, construction documentation and multidisciplinary project delivery.

What you'll do

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, BIM models and project documentation.
• Support design development and technical detailing using Revit and other digital tools.
• Contribute to construction documentation, presentations, reports and schedules.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings and project discussions.
• Perform drawing/model quality checks and maintain project records.
• Assist with consultant and contractor information reviews.
• Follow project standards, building regulations and company procedures.
• Deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines and demonstrate a proactive learning attitude.

What you'll need

• Recently completed a B.Arch or M.Arch degree.
• Available for a 6-12 month apprenticeship.
• Understanding of architectural design, building construction and technical detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Strong communication, analytical and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and eager to learn.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Enscape, Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks or BIM 360 is an advantage.
• AI workflows for design and presentations/illustrations/renders will be an added advantage.
