Overview

Falcon is Azul Platform Prime's optimizing JIT compiler, built on LLVM, that compiles hot Java bytecode into optimized machine code. This role improves the generated code's performance in the optimizer and code generator.

What you'll do

  • Find where Falcon's generated code is slower than it should be.
  • Fix performance issues in the optimizer and code generator.
  • Work on real workloads to measure and deliver performance impact for customers.
