Compliance Analyst - AI Governance

Overview

Compliance Analyst - AI Governance supports and operates AlphaSense’s AI governance program within the Strategic Risk team.

What you'll do

• Complete AI risk assessments using established templates and criteria.
• Maintain the accuracy of the AI system inventory by adding and updating records.
• Use the AI governance platform to enter assessment data and organize evidence.
• Gather information and evidence to map use cases to AI governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, security, legal/privacy, and procurement contacts for assessment inputs.
• Assist with third-party and vendor AI risk reviews for senior validation.
• Draft assessment summaries, flag higher-risk items, and track assessment status.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience in risk management, GRC, compliance, audit, or data privacy.
• IAPP AIGP certification.
• Knowledge of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Comfort working with GRC/governance tooling (workflows, inventories, reporting).
• Conceptual understanding of how AI/ML systems work and associated risks (e.g., bias, hallucination, data leakage, model drift).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage high assessment volume.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
