Computer Operations Specialist

Overview

The Computer Operations Specialist supports day-to-day enterprise technology operations by resolving user issues, maintaining system reliability, and helping with technology deployments.

What you'll do

• Provide timely resolution of user issues.
• Maintain system reliability while balancing production support and incoming user requests.
• Coordinate on-site desktop support for PC hardware/software needs.
• Support technology deployments with testing and validation documentation.
• Perform post-implementation support by identifying root causes and proposing strategic solutions.
• Work with vendors to analyze and troubleshoot solutions.
• Participate in training fellow desktop administrators in organizational processes.

What you'll need

• University degree required (bachelor’s) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Basic understanding of network equipment.
• Basic understanding of AV equipment.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing computing equipment.
• Fluent in English.
• Basic understanding of Linux Desktop.
