Construction Engineer- CSA

Overview

Lead end-to-end civil development and construction projects, including residential, dormitory, industrial and site development work. Coordinate design, construction, quality, safety, approvals and handover across project stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Lead civil projects from design review through construction, commissioning, handover and close-out.
• Develop schedules and monitor milestones, resources, manpower and equipment.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supervise earthwork, foundations, RCC, structural steel, masonry, finishes, roads, drainage and external development.
• Review drawings, calculations, shop drawings and method statements for constructability.
• Manage QA/QC inspections, testing, NCRs, punch points and handover documentation.
• Coordinate safety activities, statutory approvals, permits, inspections and project close-out.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional experience in civil construction and building or development projects.
• Knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction practices.
• Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Skills in construction planning, scheduling, quantity estimation and BOQ review.
• Knowledge of QA/QC, ITPs, EHS and construction safety.
• Ability to use large language models or generative AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT.

Nice to have

• Experience with residential, commercial, dormitory, institutional or large-scale development projects.
• Experience with large-scale, fast-track or complex construction projects.
