Construction Engineer

Overview

Construction Engineer responsible for managing construction execution, site activities, resources, costs, quality, reporting, and safety for process plant projects.

What you'll do

• Manage employees, resources, project site work, and task progress.
• Oversee construction activities, installation quality, costs, and construction hours.
• Attend site review meetings with customers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Recommend monthly erection and commissioning invoices.
• Prepare cost provisions and project status reports for site activities.
• Resolve execution bottlenecks and ensure mechanical completion document handover.
• Monitor site health and safety measures through daily reports.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5–9 years of relevant project execution experience.
• B.E. in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering.
• Knowledge of construction activities for process plant structures, erection, piping, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of labour laws.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Experience with MS Project or another project management tool.

Nice to have

• Experience handling international projects or Indian projects of MNCs.
• Knowledge of new construction technologies, processes, and tools.
