Construction Engineer- CSA

Overview

Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, coordination and delivery of civil development and construction projects, including residential, dormitory and site development projects. Serve as the technical and execution interface among project stakeholders while ensuring safe, timely, cost-effective and quality delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead civil projects from design review through construction, commissioning, handover and close-out.
• Develop schedules, monitor milestones and coordinate manpower, equipment and resources.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Supervise earthwork, foundations, RCC, structural steel, masonry, finishes, roads, drainage and external development.
• Establish QA/QC procedures and manage inspections, testing, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety inspections, risk assessments, permits, approvals and statutory clearances.
• Lead snagging, punch-list closure, final inspections, as-built documentation and handover.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional experience in civil construction and building or development projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction practices.
• Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of RCC, structural steel, architectural finishes and external infrastructure.
• Skills in quantity estimation, BOQs, planning, scheduling, QA/QC, ITPs and construction safety.
• Ability to use generative AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT to improve work efficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with residential, commercial, dormitory, institutional or large-scale development projects.
• Experience delivering large-scale, fast-track or complex construction projects.
• End-to-end experience across design, procurement, construction, approvals and handover.
